1. Company Information

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Slimmy.app ("Service" or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms in their entirety, you are not authorized to use the Service. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with notice provided through the App or by email.

3. Description of the Service

Slimmy.app is a wellness and weight management application that offers:

  • Weight tracking and progress monitoring
  • AI-generated meal plans and recipe suggestions
  • Group challenges and motivation features
  • Social feed for sharing progress with the community
  • GPS tracking of walks and physical activities
  • AI Chef for personalized recipe suggestions
  • AI photo transformation features (Premium)
  • Advanced statistics and progress analytics
  • Integration with Apple Health and Google Health Connect

4. Registration and Account

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Premium Subscription

Slimmy.app offers Premium features through paid subscriptions.

Purchases made through the iOS application are processed by Apple using the App Store In‑App Purchase system. Purchases made through other platforms may be processed through authorized payment providers.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled by the user.
  • Users may disable automatic renewal at any time through their Apple ID settings or the platform used for the purchase.
  • Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not terminate the current subscription period.
  • Refunds are governed by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.
  • Prices and Premium features may change in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account directly from within the application through the "Delete Account" feature available in the profile settings.

Account deletion results in the removal of personal data associated with the account, except where retention is required by law, tax obligations, fraud prevention, legal claims or requests from competent authorities.

Once the deletion process has been completed, access to the account may no longer be possible and the process may be irreversible.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or unauthorized purposes
  • Publish offensive, defamatory, obscene or inappropriate content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service or its servers
  • Attempt to access another user's data without authorization
  • Use bots, automated scripts or other automated means to access the Service
  • Violate intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Transmit viruses, malware or harmful code
  • Collect personal data from other users without consent

8. User Content

Users may publish content such as photos, text, comments, audio recordings and other materials through the Service.

  • You represent that you have the rights necessary to share such content.
  • You grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use, display and distribute such content within the scope of the Service.
  • You retain ownership of your original content.
  • You acknowledge that public content may be visible to other users.

The Company reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

9. Apple Health and Google Health Connect Integration

With the user's explicit consent, Slimmy.app may access physical activity and wellness data through Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android).

  • Daily steps
  • Distance travelled
  • Active calories
  • Workouts and physical activities
  • Body weight and other data expressly authorized by the user

Such data is used exclusively to provide wellness tracking, activity monitoring and personal progress features.

Data obtained from Apple Health and Google Health Connect is not used for advertising purposes, behavioral marketing or sold to third parties.

Users may revoke permissions at any time through their device settings.

10. Camera, Microphone and Geolocation

Certain features of the App require access to the camera, microphone, photo library and device location.

  • The camera may be used to capture and publish content.
  • The microphone may be used for voice messages and audio communication features.
  • Geolocation may be used for tracking walks and physical activities.

These permissions are optional and may be revoked at any time through device settings.

11. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Slimmy.app is NOT a medical device, healthcare service or provider of medical advice.

Information provided through the App, including meal plans, nutrition suggestions, AI-generated recommendations, statistics, activity tracking and weight monitoring, is provided solely for informational, educational and motivational purposes.

Before starting any diet, exercise program or making changes to your lifestyle, always consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional.

The App does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service are the exclusive property of Nova Service FCO S.r.l. or its licensors.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

  • The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation.
  • The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
  • The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the previous 12 months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nova Service FCO S.r.l. from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

15. Changes to the Service

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

17. Final Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
